Southern Chester County Emergency Medical Services, Inc. (SCCEMS) operates two stations 24/7 to provide coverage to the 220 square miles of our primary service area.

In 2024, the Southern Chester County Emergency Medical Services (SCCEMS MEDIC94) moved into the Southern Chester County Emergency Operations Center (SCCEOC) located at 863 W. Baltimore Pike in West Grove. SCCEMS entered into a long-term lease for the facility with Penn Township who owns both the property and building itself. The building serves as the headquarters for SCCEMS, houses MEDIC 941 and MEDIC 943 units and includes areas for crew quarters, storage, administrative offices and training.
Avondale Fire Company Station

23 Firehouse Lane, Avondale
SCCEMS moved its east unit, MEDIC 94, to the new Avondale Firehouse on Route 41 (Gap-Newport Pike,) just south of Avondale Borough in 2007. This shared facility with the Avondale Fire Company Fire and EMS Divisions provides for office and bay space for operations as well as the use of all of the fire station facilities by the MEDIC 942 assigned paramedics.
