Over the past 36 years, SCCEMS has changed to meet the needs of our growing community. From our humble beginnings in 1983 (with one paramedic unit and eight medical providers), SCCEMS has grown dramatically, providing MEDIC 94 advanced life support services, EMS education and various community education programs. The one constant that has never changed in our organization: Our continued commitment to community guidance and the provision of the highest quality patient care.
Each year, SCCEMS responds to over 2,000 life-threatening emergencies dispatched through the Chester County 9-1-1 Center. Our dedicated, courteous and skilled staff provide the highest quality care to our patients with an emphasis on “care”. We pride ourselves in going the extra mile for our patients beyond clinical management and make sure that all of our patient’s needs are met during every call.
Our organization continues to be ready to meet the challenges of our rapidly growing community and changing healthcare environment. While we acknowledge our past achievements which have been recognized by our community, we emphasize our future challenges which we will meet with our emphasis on community governance, quality patient care and our organization’s commitment to being part of the leadership team at the County and State level.
